Cook Kid Hideout!

This has got to be one of the best things about our new parsonage. A random cupboard in the basement opens up into a crawl space. An empty crawl space.
And there's tons of storage in this place, so even with all the boxes unpacked, I do not need to use even a little bit of this area for storage.

It was Saturday morning, and Aggie wanted a project. "Mommy can I please clean  this so we can play in it?"  What a great idea!
It's a HIDEOUT!

And it was cute, even as we were cleaning up, we found a couple old game pieces and stickers...
perhaps my kids aren't the first PKs to use this space as a hideout?

Those Christmas lights that used to hang outside our old parsonage
make the perfect decoration here!

In another stroke of genius, I bought each child a piece of posterboard to decorate and hang in their clubhouse.  I love how each one shows their personalities!

Check it out :)

What fun! I am suddenly hopeful that we WILL survive this winter!
